Wendel Wirth ~ Then the Wind Blew North
Entranced as a child by the visual diversity of the relationship of light on water and sky, Wendel Wirth developed an obsession with the subtle changes of these atmospheric conditions. Wirth documents these variations in her newest series Then The Wind Blew North. The photographs in this series were taken over several days from a single vantage point on the Caribbean Sea capturing the subtle palette changes brought on by light and rain.
Exhibiting in the side gallery will be Valerie Stuart’s abstract color fields. The luminous color fields capture the emotional qualities of color.
