  • JP Terlizzi, The Good Dishes / Holding Arabesque

    JP Terlizzi

The Good Dishes / Holding Arabesque
JP Terlizzi's colorful and bold photographs explore our relationship with food and the social rituals surrounding its consumption. In The Good Dishes Terlizzi utilizes herilooms from friends and family to celebrate how food brings us together. In contrast, Holding Arabesque is an homage to childhood wit and whimsy. Each tableaux balances food in unique and humorous ways.

      Michael Massaia

      Try and Remember

Michael Massaia's black and white photographs combine a clear artistic vision and mastery of the photographic process. Through an intimacy between photographer and subject, the viewer is asked to remember a past that has been irrevocably changed by the passage of time. With meticulous attention to every detail, Massaia directs the viewer into a cinematic narrative that is unique yet holds a warm familiarity. Each photograph seems to glow from within, giving life and hope to the inanimate.
